When people hear that T.J. and I have been photographers for the last 10, they often say things like “Wow! You must have so many great photos of your family!” And that’s true! But you’d never know it if you walked into our house. I think that because I already post a lot of our images here….

It’s difficult to write about years of marriage. I feel like I should have something epic to say now that Brooke and I are celebrating a decade of being married. Yet as I sit here and type, delete and re-type again…

We live in a little 1,050 sq ft house that was built in 1929, and we love it with our whole hearts. But let me tell you, in the last four years as we've added two kids to our family, there are moments when it feels so small…

To take the kids? Or not to take the kids? That is always the question, right? T.J. and I went back and forth so many times on whether or not we should take the girls to Hawaii with us, but as you can see, we ultimately landed on bringing them along!

Brooke and I feel like we are re-learning how to work since we now work from home while watching the kids. Lately, we've been having to remind other when one of us has a good work day, both of us have a good work day.

There is something inside of us that wants to be free. It's what makes us scream and laugh while we barrel down the tracks of a roller coaster, or stick our arm out of the car window during the first hot days of summer.

One thing we try to do in our marriage is practice giving and receiving alone time. This weekend, Brooke was gifted some alone time to go thrifting (which is one of her favorite things to do) while I stayed home with the kids.

We aren't a huge Valentines Day couple but we are big fans of challenges and T.J. shares something he does when he challenges himself to grow in today's final thoughts.

We celebrated June's 4th birthday and shared some of our favorite moments of her life + the traits in her that we adore. Stick around for the final thoughts because it's something anyone can do that will make a big difference in our lives and the lives of those around us.

We traveled to Southern California this January to visit family, go to Disneyland + spend some much-needed downtime! We also visited T.J.'s childhood home + elementary school.

We spent three days at Disneyland earlier this month and it was totally magical....exhausting, but magical! It was so fun to watch our little June experience some of the magic she’s seen in the movies.
