It’s difficult to write about years of marriage. I feel like I should have something epic to say now that Brooke and I are celebrating a decade of being married. Yet as I sit here and type, delete and re-type again…

To take the kids? Or not to take the kids? That is always the question, right? T.J. and I went back and forth so many times on whether or not we should take the girls to Hawaii with us, but as you can see, we ultimately landed on bringing them along!

We traveled to Southern California this January to visit family, go to Disneyland + spend some much-needed downtime! We also visited T.J.'s childhood home + elementary school.

Disneyland was... you guessed it --- magical. It was the first time any of us had been there and it didn't disappoint.

We spent three days at Disneyland earlier this month and it was totally magical....exhausting, but magical! It was so fun to watch our little June experience some of the magic she’s seen in the movies.

Too many people wear busyness as a badge of honor, as if busyness = success, or busyness makes it okay to not make room for the best things, verses all the things.

T.J. and I had decided before we even left for our trip that we were really going to make an effort to stay off of our phones during our vacation, so for me that looked like taking my "real" camera with me most places, and I am so grateful I did!

I thought about naming this post "How to eat-shop-walk-Uber-and-Lyft your way through Nashville in four nights, five days, with six friends at the end of January for your friend's 30th birthday." Buuuuut, then I realized that's pretty specific and the title would most definitely be cut off…
