Is anyone else super convicted by the word "any" in this verse (Ephesians 4:29) or is that just me? I mean I do a pretty good job at keeping unwholesome talk coming out of my mouth, but there is still some and that verse definitely says ANY.
When I wear this shirt I am very aware of the things that I am saying and it leads me to say more uplifting things to my wife, kids + friends. I hope it does the same to you - T.J.
We create a lot of products with the phrase "Choose Joy" on them. I think that's because almost everyone wants that to be true in their life. You don't meet many people who say, "I want to choose frustration today." Most people want to be joyful, which is awesome.
What's not awesome is that our default seems to be to choose frustration. Someone gives us a weird look or we show up to a store seconds after they lock the door and we choose frustration instead of joy. That's why Brooke and I love all our products that say, "choose joy" because we know how badly we need to actively choose it, because it doesn't just happen by default.
Although, here is what I've learned about joy. The more I see the phrase over and over again and think about it and pray for it, the more it's my default response. Our hope is that by seeing it on a t-shirt, sticker or wall banner it would do the same for you! - @tjmousetis
"As iron sharpens iron,so one person sharpens another." - Proverbs 27:17
Based on the Iron Sharpens Iron verse, this design started as a collaboration between walk in love. and Men Of Iron, a non-profit designed to sharpen men and strengthen churches across the nation. It continues to be one of our best selling designs! A portion of the sales of this design are donated to Men of Iron.
As seen on Chris Pratt, Tim Tebow, Steph Curry, Russell Wilson, Kevin Durant, Russell Okung, and many more!
Do you ever open the camera on your phone to take a picture and it's forward facing? And for a split second you see yourself and think, "Yikes!" or "Why did my wife marry me when I look like that?" In those moments, it's hard to think, "Yes, I am the work of His hands! God created me!" And that's just physical stuff. It's even harder to think I am the work of His hands when I sin.
Sooo much doubt can come into our lives on this topic. It can be difficult to think God created us and is happy with His creation because we are so unhappy with ourselves at times, whether physically or spiritually. This design won't fix that, but the truth behind this design will help remind you that you are created by God and you are the work of His hands. Instead of seeing yourself through that awkward, very unflattering front facing camera, see yourself through a loving God. - @tjmousetis
