I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. - Galatians 2:20
When teaching children about becoming a follower of God, we often use the phrase, “Ask Jesus to come live in your heart.”
It’s supposed to be a simple concept: inviting Christ to live in our hearts. But what does that mean? What should that look like?
It should mean that we’ve let go of living our lives just for ourselves. We should live in such a way as to honor and please God!
Is that what your life looks like? Can those around you tell that Christ lives in you?
Do they see your faith?
Do they see your love?
Do they see your joy?
If Christ lives in you, everyone should be able to see Him when they look at you!
